Short version: This extension does its work entirely inside your browser. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your browsing data, page content, or scan results. There is no analytics and no tracking.

What the extension accesses

When you click “Scan this page”, the extension analyzes the content of the tab you are currently viewing so it can detect accessibility issues. It uses the activeTab permission, which grants access to that one tab only, only at the moment you click, and never in the background.

What we store, and where

Your most recent scan is saved locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) so the report can be reopened. It never leaves your device.
Pro users: saved audit history and report-branding text are also stored locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to us.

You can erase all of it at any time by removing the extension or clearing its storage in your browser.

What we do NOT do

We do not send page content, URLs, or scan results to any server we control.
We do not use analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, or tracking of any kind.
We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

Payments (Pro tier)

Optional Pro subscriptions are processed by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), which uses Stripe for payment handling. If you choose to upgrade, your email and payment details are handled by those services under their own privacy policies. We never see or store your card details. We receive only whether your license is active. If you never upgrade, no payment data is involved.

Not a compliance service

This extension is a detection tool that reports accessibility issues found by an automated scan. It does not make any website ADA- or WCAG-compliant and does not issue a certification of compliance. Manual review by a person is required for any real conformance claim.
